A new report has made a series of serious allegations concerning Phil Mickelson’s conduct away from the golf course, prompting the six-time major champion to respond through his legal team.

Among the incidents revisited in the report is an allegation first reported years earlier involving Ashley Perez, the former wife of fellow professional golfer Pat Perez. Ashley alleges that during the week of the 2015 Barclays tournament, Mickelson showed her an explicit photo of himself and made inappropriate advances toward her.
According to the report, Ashley says Mickelson later apologized for the incident. Pat Perez has previously addressed the matter publicly, describing it as crossing a line that was “uncrossable and unforgivable,” comments that have resurfaced following the publication of the latest report.
In response, Mickelson’s attorney strongly rejected many of the allegations while acknowledging that some relate to past mistakes the golfer has already addressed.
“Some of the allegations circulating about Mr. Mickelson are false, and others revisit mistakes he has already acknowledged, publicly or privately,” the attorney said in a statement.
The statement continued by saying that Mickelson’s primary focus remains on his family and personal growth.
“His priority is to become the husband, father, and man his family deserves,” the statement read, while also requesting privacy regarding an ongoing family health matter.
The publication of the report has generated significant discussion throughout the golf world, particularly given Mickelson’s status as one of the sport’s most recognizable figures. The allegations have sparked intense debate across social media, with many calling for accountability while others have urged caution, noting that Mickelson has denied many of the claims and that the allegations have not been tested in court.
