Scheffler shows his class
Scheffler helped his U.S. teammates forge an 11-7 lead at the 2024 Presidents Cup heading into the Sunday singles.

The reigning Masters champion partnered Collin Morikawa in the morning four-balls and took down the International pairing of Adam Scott and Taylor Pendrith 2&1.

Scheffler partnered Russell Henley in the afternoon foursomes and they managed to come from three down to defeat Sungjae Im and Hideki Matsuyama 3&2.

For his part, Scheffler gave all the credit to Henley, saying that he was ‘on another planet’ for the first five holes.

“I felt like I messed up the beginning of the match,” Scheffler said.

“I felt like I was on a different planet for the first six holes, really the first five holes,”Starting on No. 6 I hit a good shot in there, and I don’t think Russ missed a shot today.

“I can’t think of one shot I thought he could have hit better. Props to my guy here; he’s a great partner and I’m just proud to be out here with him.”
