Red Bull kingpin floats Oscar Piastri F1 bombshell
Australia’s Oscar Piastri has found himself caught within the center of the F1 rumour process, with a Red Bull boss dropping a bombshell.
Red Bull supremo Helmut Marko has thrown a cat among the pigeons, claiming Oscar Piastri’s management is “intensively seeking conversation” with Red Bull.
Piastri is right now in his moment season of Formula One driving for McLaren and prior this year signed a multi-year contract extension that will run until the end of the 2026 season.

He claimed his lady win in Hungary and backed it up with a superb drive in Azerbaijan to win his second F1 grand prix.
His defence on Charles Leclerc in that race, and a bold overtake on his teammate Lando Norris at the Italian Grand Prix have prompted many commentators and ex-drivers to name Piastri a future world champion.
McLaren leads the group standings by 40 points over Red Bull and is on track to claim the constructors championship for the first time since 1998.
With Norris and Piastri, McLaren has one of the most talented and stable driver pairings in F1, but agreeing to Marko that will not be the case.
The 81-year-old claimed Piastri’s manager Mark Webber has been inquiring about a potential move to Red Bull.
The Red Bull motorsport advisor told F1 insider:
“Let’s put it this way:
Mark Webber is intensively seeking conversation.”
It’s an eyebrow-raising claim given Piastri’s contract extension, the stability at McLaren and the fact that being Verstappen’s teammate at Red Bull has proved a death knell for drivers in the past
