LIV Golf rebel Harold Varner III arrested for driving while impaired in North Carolina

Professional golfer Harold Varner III was arrested Thursday night in Charlotte, North Carolina on suspicion of driving while suspended.
The 33-year-old man, who plays at the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Course, was arrested Thursday night around 7: p.m. ET.
According to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, he was stopped in uptown Charlotte and a breathalyzer test recorded his blood alcohol level as 0.16.
Varner, who grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina, was given $500 bail, which he posted late Thursday night after being jailed.
