Jon Rahm Set to Suffer for His LIV Golf Defection as Viktor Hovland Preps to Become the Spaniard’s Executioner at the Sentry
2024 may not be a great start for Jon Rahm.
The Spaniard, who lost his tour card thanks to a $566 million move to LIV Golf, could suffer another setback at the hands of PGA Tour pro Viktor Hovland.
The Norwegian could reportedly displace Lahm from third place in the world rankings within the next few days.
Both Rahm and Hovland had great performances last season.
In addition to winning the Masters last year, Rahm also won three other titles.
Ironically, two of them, the Sentry Tournament of Champions and the Genesis Invitational, were designated as signature events with increased prize money and increased OWGR and FedEx points.
