The original deadline for a merger agreement between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf has passed, but talks are still ongoing.
Golf’s biggest battle is expected to last until 2024, after the Dec. 31 deadline to formally approve the merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
However, a deal between the tours has not yet been finalized as the PGA has confirmed to its members that negotiations are expected to resume in the new year.
Just before the new year, a memo was sent to all PGA players stating that negotiations with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund would continue into 2024.
