Max Homa Potential 2025 Move After Recent Split with caddie

Max Homa, a prominent figure on the PGA Tour, is set to commence his 2025 season with a notable change in his support team. For The Sentry tournament in Maui, Homa will have Michael Greller, renowned for his long-standing partnership with Jordan Spieth, as his caddie. This arrangement arises due to the unavailability of Homa’s regular caddie, Joe Greiner, who is expected to rejoin him later in the West Coast swing.

Greller, who has been by Spieth’s side since his professional debut, brings a wealth of experience to Homa’s game. His familiarity with the Plantation Course at Kapalua, where The Sentry is held, could provide valuable insights for Homa. Notably, Greller was on the bag during Spieth’s victory at this event in 2016.

This collaboration is temporary, with Greiner anticipated to return for The American Express event in La Quinta, California, from January 16-19.

Homa’s decision to enlist Greller underscores his commitment to maintaining a high level of performance, even amidst unforeseen changes in his team.

In addition to the caddie adjustment, Homa has been observed without his usual Titleist logos, suggesting potential changes in his equipment sponsorships. Reports indicate he may be transitioning to Cobra Golf, signaling a broader strategy to refine his game for the upcoming season.

As Homa embarks on the 2025 season, these developments highlight his adaptability and determination to optimize his performance. The temporary partnership with Greller, combined with potential equipment changes, positions Homa as a player to watch closely in the early tournaments of the year.
