Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods played incredible golf over the two rounds of the PNC Championship to finish as runners-up. To witness Team Woods’ performance, the golfer’s ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, was also present at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club on Sunday, December 23. Following the final round, the former couple shared a heartfelt embrace.

Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods got married in 2004, but the marriage ended in 2010. In addition to Charlie, the former couple has an elder daughter, Sam Alexis Woods, who was on the bag for her father this week.

Team Woods fired a 15-under 57 in the second round of the PNC Championship to finish with a 28-under total. However, they were forced into a playoff by Bernhard Langer and his son Jason, who also carded the same score. In the extra hole, Team Woods made a birdie, but Team Langer claimed back-to-back titles after firing an eagle.

This was Team Woods’ fifth appearance at the PNC Championship, and they are yet to taste success at the tournament. This was the closest they have come to the title since finishing as runners-up in 2021.

Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods earned $80,000 for their runner-up finish at the PNC Championship. The total purse for this year’s event was $1.085 million, with the winning Team Langer taking home $200,000 for their successful title defense.
